Suksomruay Begins Official Duties with a Ceremony at Government House

Bangkok: Suksomruay Wantaniyakul, the newly appointed Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, visited the Government House at 7:00 AM to pay respects to sacred objects, marking the official start of her tenure. She expressed her commitment to performing her duties to the best of her ability in her new role.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Suksomruay made her visit to the shrine of the guardian and ancestral spirits, sacred sites at the Government House, as part of a traditional ceremony before commencing her official responsibilities. This act followed the completion of the Cabinet's policy statement, signifying the formal beginning of her ministerial duties.

Ms. Suksomruay has been entrusted with overseeing three significant agencies: the Office of the Royal Development Projects Coordination Committee, the Land Bank Management Institute (Public Organization), and the Village and Urban Community Fund (VUCF). She acknowledged the importance of these agencies and reiterated her dedication to fulfilling her responsibilities effectively.
