Ten Million Baht Rocket Crashes into Rice Mill Warehouse, No Injuries Reported

Maha Sarakham: A ten-million-baht rocket fell on a rice mill warehouse, causing the roof to collapse. Fortunately, no one was injured. The rice mill did not file a complaint or take legal action.

According to Thai News Agency, Wat Weluwasri, located on the bank of a swamp in Ban Na Lao, Nong Hai Subdistrict, Wapi Pathum District, organized an Isan tradition to continue the tradition of the Ten Million Rocket Festival between 8-10 May 2025, with rockets being lit throughout the day. During the festivities, the second largest rocket veered off course and landed on the roof of a rice mill warehouse situated over a kilometer away on the Wapi Pathum-Roi Et Road. Remarkably, no injuries were reported at the time of the incident. The rice mill, which was responsible for lighting the Ten Million Rocket, opted not to pursue any complaints or legal actions.

In a related incident in 2023, a rocket valued at 10 million baht was launched and subsequently exploded, resulting in debris falling to the ground and injuring eight people.
