Thai Government Celebrates ‘Nong Nene Royal’ as a Global Success Model

Bangkok: The government is hailing "Nong Nene Royal" as a model of global success and is preparing to present her with an award on National Youth Day. The government is also moving forward with its policy of "overhauling the Children's Council" to cultivate Thai youth for the international stage.

According to Thai News Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Patthadarasmi Thongsalooykorn, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government wishes to express its admiration for the success of "Nene Royal," or Praew - Rattikan Amlai, a 16-year-old Thai youth from Phuket, who made history for Thailand by performing live on the world-class stage of America's Got Talent, winning the hearts of all four judges and receiving praise from both Thais and foreigners.

Recently, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) instructed its agencies in Phuket to present a bouquet of flowers to congratulate Nene and are considering awarding her a "Youth Inspiration" plaque on National Youth Day, which falls on September 20th every year, in order to honor and inspire Thai youth nationwide.

The Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office stated that the government attaches great importance to National Youth Day and is ready to support Thai youth in thinking and acting boldly. Currently, the government is accelerating the implementation of the "Overhauling the Children and Youth Council" policy through the Department of Children and Youth Affairs to modernize existing mechanisms and truly listen to the voices of the younger generation. This policy will focus on upskilling and enhancing 21st-century skills in technology and creativity, so that all Thai youth can compete and grow into quality citizens at the global level.
