Bangkok: The Thai stock market experienced an upward movement today, with the index closing at 1,611.28 points. This marks an increase of 17.72 points, or 1.11%, compared to the previous trading day. The total trading volume reached 80,492.88 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the trading session saw the index hit a high of 1,621.19 points and a low of 1,598.30 points. Out of the individual stocks, 354 recorded gains, 114 experienced declines, and 197 remained unchanged as the market closed.
