Bangkok: The Thai women’s volleyball team continues to train at the Sports Authority of Thailand. Chatchu-on “Bumbim” Moksri expressed her determination and commitment to lead the team to defend its SEA Games championship once again.
According to Thai News Agency, “Coach Oat” Kiattipong Rachatakeangkrai, head coach of the Thai women’s national volleyball team, led his team in continuous training at the Sports Science Center of the Sports Authority of Thailand. Chatchu-on “Bumbim” Moksri, Natthanicha “Nuknik” Jaisan, Jidapa “Bam” Nahua Nong, Kattika “Dao” Kaewpin, Warunee “Guitar” Karum, Kanyarat “Bow” Khunmuang, and Warisara Sritalet trained intensively with rising volleyball stars.
Key players like “Pure” Ajcharaporn Kongyot, “Ufa” Dolporn Sinpho, “Beam” Pimpichaya Kokram, “Mome” Thanatcha Suksod, “Nan” Thatdao Nuekjang, “Toey” Hatthaya Bamrungsuk and “Chompoo” Pornpan Kerdprach are still on international duty with their clubs and will join the team later this month.
Coach Oat confirmed that the Thai women’s volleyball team is fully fit after a continuous training camp, awaiting the return of players from overseas leagues later this month to undergo a more intensive training program, focusing on serving, receiving, and scoring, with the goal of winning the gold medal. He expressed confidence that the Thai women’s team will be able to defend their championship.
Chatchu-on Moksri, the star outside hitter, expressed her determination and commitment to the SEA Games, saying she is confident she can defend her title once again. She also appealed to the Thai volleyball fans who will be cheering her on in the stadium as usual.
For the 33rd SEA Games volleyball, there will be 4 gold medals up for grabs: the men’s and women’s indoor volleyball teams will compete at the Indoor Stadium, Huamark, and the men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams will compete at Jomtien Beach, Chonburi Province.
