The Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) announced on January 23rd that it has opened channels for the public to check information on parliamentary candidates, the list of individuals nominated by political parties for prime minister, and polling stations via the website www.ect.go.th and the Smart Vote application.
According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission of Thailand would like to inform eligible voters to check information related to the election of members of the House of Representatives to help them make their decision before Election Day. Details available include: the list of candidates for constituency seats, the list of candidates for party-list seats, the list of individuals that political parties have resolved to propose to the House of Representatives for appointment as Prime Minister, and information about polling stations.
This information can be checked on the Election Commission's website at www.ect.go.th and the Smart Vote application. The Election Commission encourages the public to thoroughly check the information and prepare before Election Day to ensure that the exercise of their voting rights is correct, honest, fair, and lawful.
