Thawiphip Sets Sights on Orange Victory for Bangkok Elections

Bangkok: "Thawiphip" tells "Prachachon" that they are aiming for the orange color (indicating success) for all Bangkok residents, including the governor and councilors.

According to Thai News Agency, Thawiphip has reported to the parliament, stating that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) aims to win the orange color (indicating victory) for all Bangkok candidates, including the governor and city councilors. He believes the official launch will be impressive.

Mr. Thaweepipop Limjitrakorn, Bangkok MP from the People's Party, reported to the Secretariat of the House of Representatives. He explained that he did not report with the other MPs yesterday due to family commitments. Regarding his work in the area, he stated that although Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi districts are new to him and he does not reside there, he finds similarities to Khlong San district, which also borders the river. These similarities include religious diversity, accessibility issues, and chronic problems. He noted that as an MP, he may not be able to resolve many of these issues as they are primarily local problems. He expressed a desire to see future Bangkok governors and Bangkok Metropolitan Council members from the People's Party.

Mr. Thawiphip continued by saying that today there will be a seminar and training session to prepare for the Bangkok gubernatorial election to be held in July. He stated that they want to win the election at both the national and local levels, confirming that they will field candidates in every district. He expressed confidence in the candidates' abilities, citing their past fieldwork and competence. He urged the public to pay attention to the local elections, as many issues are relevant to their local communities. He also assured the public that the gubernatorial candidate this time will definitely create a surprise, concluding with a "Wow!"

Subsequently, Mr. Thawiphip reported to the Secretariat of the House of Representatives as a Member of Parliament, bringing the total number of People's Party MPs who have reported for duty today to 120.
