Bangkok: A two-story wooden house in Charoen Krung collapsed, trapping the 64-year-old owner inside the house. Rescue workers were able to safely rescue him. According to Thai News Agency, police at Wat Phraya Krai Police Station received a report of a house collapsing in Soi Charoen Krung 99, where a 64-year-old woman was trapped inside the wreckage of the house. At the scene, a two-story wooden house collapsed. Rescue volunteers and paramedics had to walk over 500 meters with various types of rescue equipment, including first aid supplies, before reaching the scene.

The owner of the house was a 64-year-old woman who was trapped inside the wreckage of the house. Her name was Ms. Prakong, a retired civil servant at the Ministry of the Interior. Rescue volunteers rushed to inspect the area around the incident. They heard cries for help coming from the middle of the house. Ms. Prakong said that the house was built 55 years ago. It may have been tilted by termites. Before the incident, she was the only one in the house. She was sleeping in a room on the second floor. She heard a creaking sound but did not think much of it. After a while, the whole house collapsed. She wanted the police to cordon off the area around the house because there were still many valuables in the house.
