Bangkok: An urgent cabinet meeting was convened following the announcement of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. The Prime Minister, who also serves as the Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, called for this special session at the Government House.

According to Thai News Agency, the meeting was scheduled for 9:00 AM, with strict instructions for all attendees and their entourages to wear mourning attire. Men were advised to wear black suits with mourning armbands or long-sleeved black Thai silk outfits, while women were instructed to don formal black attire or black Thai silk outfits. The agenda for this gathering was centered on making preparations for the royal ceremony.
