Van Overturns on Highway 304, Resulting in Two Fatalities and Fourteen Injuries

Nakhon ratchasima: A van accident on Highway 304, Ratchasima-Kabin Buri road, resulted in two fatalities and 14 injuries. The incident occurred near the Wanasart curve in the Udom Sap subdistrict of Wang Nam Khiao district, as the van overturned and plunged down a hillside.

According to Thai News Agency, the van was carrying a total of 16 passengers, including the driver, on a journey from Pattaya, Chonburi province, to Nakhon Ratchasima province. The vehicle lost control upon reaching a curved downhill section, collided with a guardrail, and overturned, landing with its wheels pointing skyward.

Rescue efforts were promptly initiated by workers from Hook 31 Udom Sap and surrounding areas. Hydraulic cutters were employed to extricate four passengers who were trapped in the wreckage. The injured passengers were subsequently transported to Wang Nam Khiao Hospital and Maharaj Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital for medical treatment.
