Wannor Accepts Role as Chairman of Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul revealed that Wan Nor has accepted the position of chairman of the Prime Minister's advisory committee, to help oversee peace and stability in the area.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters said that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul commented on the Facebook post of Sukarno Mata, MP for Yala and Secretary-General of the Prachachart Party. Anutin expressed gratitude to the Prachachart Party for their collaboration for the nation's benefit. He stated, "Thank you to the Prachachart Party for working together for the nation and the people. I have invited Professor Wannor (Wan Muhammad Nor Mata), Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Prachachart Party, to help take care of our Muslim brothers and sisters and to build peace and tranquility in various areas in his capacity as Chairman of the Prime Minister's Advisory Committee, and he has kindly accepted."

Mr. Sukarno responded, expressing appreciation for the Prime Minister's decision, stating, "I must thank the Prime Minister for giving the nation this opportunity."
