Bangkok: "Yotchanan," also known as Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, wearing jersey number 9, spearheaded a morning run featuring Pheu Thai Party's Bangkok and party-list parliamentary candidates in Lumphini Park. As the event unfolded, citizens expressed their hopes for his success as a future Prime Minister. During the run, a notable encounter occurred between Mr. Yotsanan and Mr. Chatchart Sittiphan, the Governor of Bangkok, where they exchanged fist bumps and discussed public park policies.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Yotsanan, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, was joined by Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat, the party leader and a fellow prime ministerial candidate. They led key party members and parliamentary candidates on the run that commenced at 6:30 AM. The participants included prominent figures such as Mr. Pongkavin Chulrungruangkit, Mr. Suksit Srijomkwan, and Mr. Chanin Rungthanakiat, along with several constituency and list candidates.
Upon their arrival, Mr. Yotsanan, Mr. Chulaphan, and their team engaged in stretching exercises before embarking on a 2.5-kilometer run around Lumpini Park. Mr. Yotsanan, donning a white t-shirt with the number 9, interacted with the public along the route, receiving support for his prime ministerial aspirations.
During the run, Mr. Yotsanan and Governor Chatchart engaged in a discussion about enhancing public health through park policies. Mr. Chatchart welcomed the idea of integrating public park initiatives into political agendas to promote health. Mr. Yotsanan emphasized the significance of public parks and expressed his vision for expanding such green spaces throughout Bangkok and beyond.
The event also saw the participation of Mr. Robert Godek, former U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, who was present at the park. The gathering highlighted the importance of public spaces in fostering community health and engagement.
