Bang yai: Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, along with party leaders, visited Bang Yai Market in Nonthaburi Province to meet with the public and vendors. The atmosphere was lively. Vendors gave him balm as a show of support, telling him not to worry about opinion polls and expressing confidence that the quiet vote count would continue to support Pheu Thai.
According to Thai News Agency, on January 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM, Mr. Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, led a delegation of party executives and parliamentary candidates to Bang Yai Market in Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province, to campaign for Mr. Prathomkan Oum-ong, the party's candidate for Nonthaburi Constituency 6 (number 5), in the final stages of the campaign. The atmosphere was warm, with many citizens and market vendors greeting them, offering flowers, and requesting photos to show their support. During the market walk, a fruit vendor called out to the Pheu Thai delegation, inviting them to speak and offering Mr. Yotsanu a bottle of menthol balm to help him relax and feel refreshed after his campaign.
The fruit vendor offered words of encouragement to Mr. Yotchanan, saying, "Your inner strength is there. People will choose whatever they want anyway. Keep moving forward and don't pay attention to the polls that are coming out now, because the votes are mostly hidden." This brought smiles and encouragement to the working team.
After finishing his walkabout and greeting the public, Mr. Yotchanan went to pay respects at the shrine of King Taksin the Great located at Bang Yai Market for good fortune before continuing with his duties.
